Originally exhibited in Mesa’s 2006/7 Sculpture in the Streets juried show on Main Street, this sculpture will oxidize over time, depending on the weather. Similar to a new purchase that loses the novelty of being shiny and “brand new”, this piece will develop a rich velvety rust with a beauty and character over time. In 2007, this sculpture greeted visitors to the Shemer Art Center and Museum’s Sculpture Garden, 5005 E. Camelback Rd., Phoenix, Arizona. It was part of the exhibition “Urban Metal” at the Tempe Post Office from July – November 2010.
